We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player in the communications industry based in the Midlands. They are seeking a dynamic External Sales Representative to drive new business and manage a number of key accounts within the Communications and Tech sector. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for technology and a proven track record in business development.
Day-to-day of the role:
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities in target sectors.
Develop tailored communication solutions that address real operational challenges.
Manage and expand relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring long-term growth and satisfaction.
Build a robust sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and innovative prospecting strategies.
Collaborate closely with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.
Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within telecommunications, communications, or IT solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade various stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a drive to initiate and secure business opportunities.
Strategic thinking capabilities, adept at managing accounts and building long-term relationships.
Happy to travel to client meetings in and around the Midlands.
