About the Role

A leading manufacturer of precision-engineered products is seeking a skilled and adaptable General Machinist to join their team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established company known for its high-quality standards and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate manual and CNC machinery to produce precision components.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
Perform surface grinding and turning operations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to meet production targets.

What We’re Looking For

Strong mechanical knowledge and machining experience (required).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with surface grinding and turning (preferred).
CNC experience is a plus – training will be provided if needed.
A flexible and proactive approach to work.
